"Felt Like Nobody Was Actually Listening"
I reached out to Check City with what I thought was a simple question, i kept thinking, “Okay, maybe the next person will actually help.” But nope. I just got passed around, and the replies took forever. When they finally did respond, it didn’t really answer what I asked in the first place. It felt like nobody was actually reading my messages, which was really frustrating. After that experience, I don’t see myself using them again.

"Payment issue got sorted quick"
My payment was showing up wrong, which was sorta frustrating at first. I called support and it took a little bit, but they ended up fixing it and everything worked out fine.

"Still not totally convinced"
The process did work in the end, but I never felt completely sure about it. Some of the fees and details weren’t very clear, which made me wonder a bit how legit everything was. On top of that, I kept getting asked to verify things over and over, which got annoying fast. I’d be careful and double-check everything before using them again.

"Payments take too long"
So I’ve used Check City a few times, and the payment processing has been kind of hit or miss for me. A couple of times my payment sat as pending way longer than I expected, and when I reached out to support, they basically just told me to wait. It’s not the worst service ever, but it definitely gets frustrating

"Money came in super fast"
I kind of expected it to be quick because I’d already heard good things, it pretty much confirmed what I thought. Got funded really fast today with no hassle

"Started easy, got irritating fast"
Getting started was smooth. The site loaded without any issues, and the steps were simple enough that I wasn’t sitting there wondering what to do next.

Then it started asking me for stuff I’d already typed in, which was annoying. Uploading documents from my phone was also more of a hassle than it should’ve been, so the whole thing ended up taking longer than I expected. Anyway.

"The collections calls got old really fast"
I had a loan fall behind, and the collections calls started feeling like way too much quickly. I understand they’re trying to get paid, but it came across pushy and just added more stress. They can dress it up with all the usual “we’re here to help” company talk, but that’s not really how it felt on my end. Not a great experience for me

"Didn't really find many loan options"
I tried Check City thinking I’d be able to compare a few different loan options, but there just wasn’t much there for me. I filled everything out and then, well, I was expecting more choices, but it was limited. Maybe it works better depending on where you live, but for me it felt like kind of a waste of time.

I went in just to cash a check, and to be fair, the process was easy enough and quick. But the fees felt high, like somehow I always end up paying more than I expected just to access my own money. It worked for what I needed, but I left feeling a little taken advantage of

"Loan details felt a bit unclear"
I wasn’t really a fan of how the loan terms were laid out. The fees and repayment info didn’t feel easy to spot, and I kept clicking around trying to figure out what I was actually agreeing to. Maybe I missed something, but it just didn’t feel very straightforward.

I guess the details are probably in there somewhere, but I feel like they should be much clearer before you apply. I ended up second-guessing the whole process and didn’t feel totally comfortable moving forward.

"Fees can sneak up on you haha"
The service was fine overall, but the fees definitely add up faster than I expected haha. Not a bad experience, just felt like the rates were a bit on the high side.

"The service felt unprofessional"
I stopped in and the clerk just didn’t seem like they wanted to help. It wasn’t even only what they said, but the annoyed tone they used that made the whole interaction feel rude. A little more professionalism would’ve made a big difference

"Repayment was okay, but no one followed up"
They did let me move my payment date once, which helped at the time, but the fees still felt high to me. It was okay overall, but I was a little annoyed that nobody followed up afterward to make sure everything was sorted out or to explain anything else.

"Identity check turned into a whole mess"
I tried using Check City, but the identity verification process was such a headache. I uploaded clear pictures more than once, and it still kept failing and asking me the same questions over and over. When I reached out for help, it felt like nobody really wanted to take ownership of the issue. I just kept getting passed around without any real solution. Ended up wasting a bunch of time and still couldn’t get verified

"Something felt off with the loan renewal"
I tried to renew my loan with Check City and the whole process just felt off from the start. The site kept sending me through odd steps that didn’t really make sense, and when I reached out to support, they weren’t much help. It ended up taking way longer than it should have for something that seemed like it should be simple. i don’t think I’ll be using them again.

"Helpful Support When I Needed It"
I ran into an issue with my payment info and ended up contacting customer service. The person I spoke with was really helpful and walked me through what was going on. It did take a bit longer than I hoped, but they explained everything clearly and got it sorted out in the end. Overall, I had a good experience

"Didn’t feel worth the cost"
I used Check City once, and for some reason I was expecting it to feel a little more reasonable than it did. The fees added up quickly, and by the end I felt like I paid too much for what I got. It might work fine for other people, but for me, the value just wasn’t really there.
